Institute of Natural Excellence

Natural Excellence™, commonly referred to as NE™, is a management philosophy that upholds the view that a company achieves unprecedented results by strategizing, organizing and managing people and processes according to their natural characteristics, by aligning other business elements accordingly, and by providing intelligent means that enable an optimal cooperation, coordination and communication among the different types and levels of people and processes throughout the organization.
Natural Excellence™ is enabled through the Natural Excellence™ Framework, which consists of the entire path towards supreme individual and team excellence.
NE was founded by Robert van Geijn who due to life-changing experiences at a young age has found interest in the natural behaviour of people, both in who they are and what they do. As a result of continuous research he discovered two critical fundaments in 1997, one that applies to both people and processes (PC™), and one that applies to natural relationships (LTR™). It laid the foundation of Natural Excellence™, commonly referred to as NE™. Ultimately it took five more years to complete NE™, including the NE Framework™, which provides "The Nine Elements for Integrated Personal and Process Management". The LTR Relationship Model and the Natural Human Classification Model were concurrently developed.
With NE™ complete, in 2002 the focus shifted to extensively applying the integrated theories, methods and tools on projects in professional organizations. One of the applications has been in the world of Enterprise Resource Planning, commonly referred to as ERP, which has a reputation of being extremely difficult to implement. Through applying the integrated practices that NE™ provides, to date ERP has been highly successfully introduced to international companies in over 10 countries in Asia and Europe, creating exemplary references. Currently methods and tools are also being positioned in Mid Office projects for governments, which require an integrated process-oriented way of working in a similar fashion as ERP does. Ultimately NE™ enables a full range of business improvements, from strategic to operational and from incremental to drastic.
While applying the integrated theories, methods and tools in real life, concurrent ongoing research resulted in the creation of state-of-the-art integrated operations, project and business management practices. Ultimately "The Eight Steps towards Integrated Operations Management", "The Six Components of Integrated Project Management", "The Eight Steps towards Integrated Business Management" were developed. All practices are powered by Natural Excellence™, which sees to it that people and business are placed at the centre.
